The Vino by Auge Rosso team

The team meets in Tscharke's Montepulciano vineyard in the red sandy, cracking-clay soils of Marananga, Barossa. Behind are the vineyards of Roennfeldt Rd (Greenock Ck), Run Rig (Torbreck) leading back toward Stonewell region. Pictured; james erskine (auge sommelier), damien tscharke (the master of montepulciano) & jen pedder (auge 2nd sommelier). Damien's experience has shown him that Montepulciano (like Grenache) likes to hang on the vine. Harvest is anticipated in mid April and the vineyard is looking good.
