the monty harvesting team 20/3/08


























It took us just over three hours to harvest a full row of montepulciano by hand. In spite of the two week heat-wave that had just ended, the grapes were fantastic. Some minor hand sorting was undertaken in the vineyard to remove sunburned or shriveled berries. No sulfur was used.
